Arabic⇄English translation that runs entirely on your device with a bundled offline engine, plus on-device voice input. Your text never leaves the device. The bundled Google ML Kit component (used for the extra world languages and the language-pack screen) reports anonymous usage telemetry to Google — event counts, timings, language codes and text lengths, never the text itself. The internet is used once to activate.

What it does

• Offline Arabic⇄English translation with the bundled OPUS-MT engine — the whole model runs on your device and no text is sent anywhere
• Voice input — speak and get on-device transcription with the bundled Vosk models (Arabic and English)
• 24 selectable languages: 19 world languages, Modern Standard Arabic, and four Arabic dialects
• Arabic⇄English needs no Google Play Services. The extra world languages use standalone ML Kit packs, each downloaded once from Google's servers and then used offline
• Arabic dialect labelling (Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine, Maghrebi): a word-marker detector sets the speech-recognition locale and the on-screen label — the translation itself always goes through Modern Standard Arabic
• Live as-you-type translation, one-tap language swap, and copy of the result
